Great Days of Service is a cooperative effort among churches, businesses, service organizations, and community volunteers. Every year since 1996, volunteers from our community and partner churches have worked side by side to help their neighbors. Civic organizations and businesses in our community support this effort both financially and by supplying volunteer workers.

This year we will begin a new program called, “Community Days of Service,” that will last throughout the year. The first project will be the Public Servant Meal on Thursday, April 26th. During the month of June the projects will be: Home Improvement, Meals on Wheels, Food Drive, Friends of Hope Camp, Grand Central Station, and Neighborhood Revitalization. In August, we will host a Kid’s Fair, and Baby Blankets & Gowns. Other projects that will continue during the year are: Reading Program, Nursing Home Visitation & Senior Adult Month.
